The MOONRAKERR fin uses dimples located on the fin’s curved surfaces to create a turbulent flow.  This turbulent flow draws the fluid back over the foil surface, reducing cavitation and drag during extreme changes of direction (high angles of attack) and at high speeds.  A foil with dimples allows the surfer to create more drive and to maintain speed and hold through turns. This then increases the overall performance of the surfboard.

The NSP Elements Fish is a durable small wave thruster designed to maximize the amount of fun you can have in the surf.

This board features a modern fish outline and enough volume to get into waves early, while still providing the freedom to perform maneuvers with minimal effort. The smooth relaxed rocker has extra flip in the nose allowing you to drop into hollow waves with confidence then quickly generate speed.

Single concave in the nose flattens out through the centre, and then transitions into vee through the back of the board. This combination of bottom contours is ideal for generating speed down the line, and making fast rail-to-rail turns in more critical sections.

The NSP Elements Fish has a swallowtail with a hip positioned adjacent to the trailing edge of the side fins; this reduces the area under your back foot and enhances the board's ability to turn in a much tighter radius. Boxy-full rails also add to the overall forgiveness of this model.

The NSP Elements Fish is constructed from secure cell, fully fused EPS foam that's laminated and vacuum molded with a combination of high grade fiberglass and epoxy resin. A durable polyurethane coating is integrated within the mould and then completed with a performance hybrid finish.

Like the name suggests, NSP Elements Funboards are designed to make surfing easy and provide endless hours of fun and enjoyment in the ocean.

These boards are modeled off traditional longboards and feature a full nose, rounded pintail, and a generous well-balanced outline that's both stable and responsive in a variety of surf conditions.

The smooth relaxed rocker on the NSP Elements Funboard range features a little extra flip in the nose allowing you to paddle into waves with ease and confidently drop down the face without fear of nose diving.     When designing this fin, Matt Biolos wanted to develop something with Futures that was a progressive take on fin design that picks up where glass-ons leave off.

"I like flat inside foils because they mimic glass-on fins and I feel that flat sided fins feel more neutral and thus allow you to 'ride the board...not the fins'... The MB2 features a carbon base that is scheduled (placed) to mimic the "football" shaped glass patches we use to glass fins onto boards."

FCS RELEASES THE FCS VS KNUBSTER

Following Kelly Slater’s phenomenal 11th World Title victory, FCS is pleased to announce the release of the FCS VS KNUBSTER. Regarded by many as Kelly’s secret weapon during the second half of the 2011 ASP season, this specialised quad centre fin is now available to surfers around the globe.

Developed by Sean Mattison for Von Sol surfboards, the FCS VS KNUBSTER is essentially a centre fin that can be added to any quad set-up. The fin will increase drive and provide directional control through turns, without sacrificing speed, flow, or the freedom of movement typically associated with a quad.

The “KNUBSTER” is designed with a single tab that allows the fin to be positioned in the forward and rear centre plug to cater for the individual drive requirements of each surfer.

The FCS VS KNUBSTER, which is 3 3/4” by 2” high, was the 5th fin Kelly Slater used in his boards during the Quiksilver Pro in New York. According to Kelly’s report, “The KNUBSTER makes your quad set-up feel faster, smoother, and it adds a little more control. It just tightens everything it up a bit”.

Interestingly Kelly was riding the FCS VS KNUBSTER when he scored his two 10 point rides in 2011. The first at the Quiksilver Pro in NY where he performed one of the best airs ever seen in competition, and the second at The Rip Cur Pro in Portugal in heaving barrels.

Adding the FCS VS KNUBSTER to your quad set-up is an affordable way to add a new dimension to your surfing. FCS recommends using the fin with the FCS K2.1 Quad.

FCS Gerry Lopez SUP Tri-Quad Fin Set

With the GL Tri-Quad SUP fin set, Gerry Lopez and FCS Fins teamed up to create an ideal tri-quad set for SUP stand up paddleboards. This 5 fin set gives the surfer a choice of a thruster fin set-up, or a Quad. These are the most popular fin set-ups for top pro longboard surfers, and thus it's a good bet for use in high-performance stand up paddle surfing as well. All stand up paddle boards have a longboard centre fin box, so this set includes one centre fin with a longboard fin box base and four fins with standard FCS Fins bases for the side bites/quad. These fin sets would also work great on a longboard as well as SUP.
