This new, fun, small wave model consists of a shorter, flatter rocker, with single flyer and round tail that allows better manouverability. Deep single to double concaves allows maximum speed in small waves, making this a perfect summer board.

The Hovercraft model is like its name, a wide and short board that will plane over anything and has a really wide tail and a flat rocker. This model has full rails, deep double barrel concave under the back foot plus extra thickness in the nose and tail making it easy to paddle and it gives you added momentum on the wave face. The perfect small wave trick board.

Rob Machado and Futures partnered up to design a fin that fuses cutting edge technology with environmentalism. The fin uses renewable, fast growing, bamboo that is both light and resilient coupled with carbon fiber to create a torsional flex pattern. The bamboo carbon matrix stores potential energy during turns to release it at the end with a burst of kinetic speed. They are made with quality epoxy resin instead of polyester; not only is Epoxy stiffer, lighter, and better performing, but epoxy is also stronger for a longer lasting life and releases less VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) than polyester resin. We believe these fins represent a step forward in decreasing the environmental impact of the RTM process while remaining Lightest, Strongest, Fastest.

Julian Wilson Signature Fin - JW-1

After much anticipation FCS is pleased to announce the release of Julian Wilson’s new signature fin, the JW-1. As fate would have it, the development of this fin coincided with the filming of Julian’s signature movie “Scratching the Surface”. The hectic travel itinerary meant Jules was able to test and refine his fin in a diverse range of waves.
Once the template was locked down, Jules tried different foil options and constructions in order to achieve that ‘perfect flex’. In the end a traditional flat foil in Performance Glass construction prevailed. The final piece of the puzzle was to make the JW-1 pop, and steered by Julian’s recommendations, we arrived at the unmistakable aesthetic of solid orange neon framed with a black border.

Occy’s fin template is designed purely for speed and power. One of the most brutal and hard hitting surfers of all time. Occ likes strong, continuous speed gained from his fins rake. His ability to then turn hard and tight is allowed through a purposely designed template. Best suited to medium to heavy surfers or fast down the line walls.
